Even if they lost, Atlas HomeSchool's defensive line still kept up the pressure with four sacks. Leading the way was Brian "BJ" Johnson with two. Another thorn in Dallas Christian's side was Abe Stephens, who picked up a sack and made nine total tackles (4.0 for loss).
Trinity Leadership's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Atlas HomeSchool, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2.
