North Hunterdon extended their winning streak  to six  on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 7-7 in the process. They had just enough and edged out the Immaculata Spartans  5-3. The Lions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Spartans, too.
 Hunter Brown looked comfortable as he  tossed 2.1 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit.
 On the hitting side,  Christian Zamrok was  excellent,  going 2-for-3 with three  RBI and one  double. Those  two  hits gave  him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Alex Famolari, who  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with two  runs.
As for Immaculata, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-3 record  this season. As for they,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 5-3.
On Immaculata's side, they got a good showing from  Rob Sikorski, who   tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Sikorski has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  hits any time he's  pitched this season.
 At the plate, Immaculata saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Justin Labrador, who  went 1-for-3 with one  stolen base and one  run. Labrador has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times he's  played.  Jayden Capindica was another,  going 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases and two  runs.
North Hunterdon will have a chance to go back-to-back against Immaculata: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
