St. Laurence lost to Chicago Mt. Carmel back in January of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The St. Laurence Vikings walked away with a 75-65 victory over the Chicago Mt. Carmel Caravan. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.
Several Caravan players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cameron Thomas, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 14 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Thomas a new career-high in boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Grant Best, who went 6 for 13 on his way to 17 points and six rebounds.
