Max Walraven Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, West Forsyth got the W thanks in part to Max Walraven playing the best football he has all season. Walraven threw for 169 yards and two touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes, and also rushed for 62 yards and a touchdown. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in August of 2023. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 57 yards.
The victory was the fourth in a row for West Forsyth, bringing their record for this year to 6-2. Walraven and West Forsyth will square off against North Atlanta at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Bland Made His Presence Known in Lambert's 42-7 Victory
Cameron Bland posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 130 yards and three touchdowns. He has become a key player for Lambert: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 2-3 otherwise.
Unfortunately for Forsyth Central, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Bland. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Bland saw the Bulldogs), he rushed for 108 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, and also picked up 113 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Jackson Miller Makes It Two for West Forsyth
The second West Forsyth player making an appearance here is Jackson Miller, and for good reason. He picked up a sack and made three total tackles. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making three total tackles.

James Mccallar Turns in Another Game with at Least Five Total Tackles
James Mccallar continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his 15th-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least five total tackles. He picked up a sack and made 13 total tackles.

Lambert Gets a Boost from Brooks in 42-7 Win
Branson Brooks continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his 18th-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least eight total tackles. He made nine total tackles and snagged an interception which he returned one-yard for a touchdown.
Brooks is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Denmark on Friday. When Brooks last faced the back in October of 2023, he picked up a sack and made 15 total tackles.
