The Crismon Rattlers can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 57-35 margin over Maryvale Prep. The victory was just what Crismon needed coming off of a 76-47 loss in their prior matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Crismon to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mason Brown, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Andrew LeMaster was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 15 rebounds.
Crismon's victory bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Maryvale Prep, they bumped their record down to 3-8 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home.
Crismon will take on Sequoia Pathway Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Maryvale Prep won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Music Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on January 12th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arizona (Music Mountain is ranked 331st, while Maryvale Prep is ranked 323rd).
