Portland Christian will take on Fort Knox at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Portland Christian has nine straight  victories, Fort Knox has three straight  defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Monday, Portland Christian got the win against Burgin  by a conclusive  17-7. Considering the Eagles have won 15 matchups by more than five  runs this season, Monday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Addie Bragg was  incredible,  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances with four  runs, two  stolen bases,  and one  triple. That's the most  runs  she has posted since back in March.  Piper Scott was another key player,  going 1-for-4 with four  stolen bases and two  runs.
 Portland Christian  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .578. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Burgin only posted  an  OBP of  .412.
Meanwhile, Fort Knox fell victim to John Hardin and their airtight pitching crew  on Thursday. They fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of  2-0.
  Layna Morgan was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 2-for-3 with two  stolen bases and one  double.
 Portland Christian's win was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 17-11. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 15.5 runs over those games. As for Fort Knox, their loss dropped their record down to 1-15.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp  on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Portland Christian has been swiping bases left and right this season,  having  averaged 4.2  stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Fort Knox struggles in that department as   they've been averaging  an even more impressive 5.4  stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
 Everything went Portland Christian's way against Fort Knox when the teams last played  on Tuesday, as Portland Christian made off with  an  18-0 win. Does  Portland Christian have another victory up their sleeve, or will Fort Knox turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
