Midway put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season last Friday. They took their match against Harriman by a conclusive 41-18 score. Senior Jason Taylor was the offensive standout of the match for Midway, as he passed for 287 yards and 3 touchdowns. Taylor has now scored at least one touchdown in the past six games.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-55, which was the final score in Sunbright's tilt against Oliver Springs. Sunbright were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-42.
Midway's win lifted them to 6-1 while Sunbright's defeat dropped them down to 1-6. We'll find out if Midway can add another positive mark to their record or if Sunbright can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Midway's step.
