The Schuylerville Horses will stay at home for another  week and welcome the Granville/Whitehall Golden Horde at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday.
 Schuylerville will head into Friday's  matchup out to bounce back: they came back down to earth  on Friday after soaring to a 38-point game in their last game. They fell just short of Warrensburg/Lake George/Bolton by a score of  30-28. The loss was the Horses' first of the season.
 Despite their  loss, Schuylerville saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays.  Ollie Bolduc, who rushed for 83 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 135 yards and two touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes, was perhaps the best of all.  Ernie Dacosta was another key player, picking up 100 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
 Meanwhile,  after only six  points in their last  contest, Granville/Whitehall made sure to put some  points up on the board against Scotia-Glenville  on Friday. Granville/Whitehall breezed by Scotia-Glenville on the road  to the tune of  55-27. With the Golden Horde ahead  35-13 at the half, the  match was all but over already.
 Having lost for the first time  this season, Schuylerville  fell to 2-1. As for Granville/Whitehall, they now also have a winning record of 2-1.
 Everything came up roses for Schuylerville against Granville/Whitehall when the teams last played  back in October of 2023 as the  squad secured  a  41-0 victory.
