Leading Pensacola Catholic to victory were Sophie Burns and Jenecia Swindell. Burns dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds, while Swindell scored 13 points along with five steals. It was the first time this season that Burns scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddie Hammergren, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds.
Pensacola Catholic has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-14 record this season. As for Calvary Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-7.
