The Hamilton Heights Huskies scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 79-58 margin over Trinity Lutheran. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Trinity Lutheran lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Hudson Lang, who scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Reed Mellencamp, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.
Hamilton Heights' victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Trinity Lutheran, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
Hamilton Heights will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Christel House at 11:00 a.m. on December 29th. Hopefully Christel House focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 last Friday. Trinity Lutheran will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Switzerland County at 9:30 a.m. on Friday. Switzerland County is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
