The Mount St. Mary Rockets will head out on the road to face off against the Perry Maroons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mount St. Mary knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Perry likes a good challenge.
On Friday, Mount St. Mary took their game with ease, bagging a 62-14 victory over Chisholm. Fans of the Rockets have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Mount St. Mary's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jake Allison, who rushed for eight yards and four scores, and also picked up 69 receiving yards. The Rockets also got a significant boost from Cayden Scott, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 108 yards.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Mount St. Mary was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 202 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, while Perry put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Blackwell. Perry breezed past Blackwell to the tune of 45-0. Perry not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since October 4, 2024 (when they won 69-9).
Perry's win came from a few key players Mount St. Mary will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Andrew Kukuk, who rushed for 62 yards and three TDs on only eight carries. That's the most rushing touchdowns he has posted since back in October of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jaxon Miner, who rushed for 33 yards and one touchdown.
Mount St. Mary's record now sits at 5-0. As for Perry, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Friday's contest: Mount St. Mary has been on an offensive roll this season, having averaged 391 total yards per game. It's a different story for Perry, though, as they've been averaging only 170.6 total yards. Will Mount St. Mary be able to march up the field at their leisure again, or will the Maroons flip the script?
Mount St. Mary took a serious blow against Perry in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, falling 41-7. Can the Rockets avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
