LaFayette waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Lebanon Pioneers.
LaFayette easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-17.
Addison Cagle paced LaFayette's offense, picking up seven kills. Cagle got some help from Jaslyn Capello and her 17 assists. Gracie Rambo controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.
LaFayette's win bumped their record up to 22-6. As for Lebanon, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-2 record.
LaFayette wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Bullitt East on the 12th. As for Lebanon, they will be playing at home against Castlewood at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
