Meanwhile, after a 71-35 finish the last time they played, Iredell and Meyer decided to play a little more cautiously this time around. Iredell took a 32-13 bruising from Meyer on Saturday. Iredell's loss continues a unfortunate trend for the team, making it four in a row.
Blum's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Iredell, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season.
Blum strolled past Iredell in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 39-25. Will Blum repeat their success, or does Iredell have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
