Alston scored a full 31.4% of Granville Central's points, the sixth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Alek Jenkins, who scored eight points along with six rebounds.
Even though they lost, Granville Central were smashing the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Granville Central's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Northern Durham, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 4-6 record this season.
