The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Trinity Christian School of Griffin in their matchups with Central Christian: they've now lost six in a row.
Central Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Natalie Schneider, who scored 16 points along with seven steals. Schneider is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Clark, who scored 20 points along with eight steals.
Trinity Christian School of Griffin has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. As for Central Christian, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-5.
Trinity Christian School of Griffin won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Konos Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Central Christian will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Lafayette Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Hopefully Lafayette Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight last Friday.
