Pittsfield scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Westfield 90-31 at home. That 90-31 margin sets a new team best for Pittsfield this season.
Makai Shepardson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 20 points. The contest was his fourth in a row with at least ten points. Da'Sean Brown was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Meanwhile, Monument Mountain had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They enjoyed a cozy 63-48 victory over Belchertown last Monday.
The victory makes it two in a row for Pittsfield and bumps their season record up to 3-1. As for Monument Mountain, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Pittsfield was able to grind out a solid win over Monument Mountain in their previous matchup back in January, winning 68-58. Will Pittsfield repeat their success, or does Monument Mountain have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
