After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Gladewater, the Sabine Cardinals were happy to have found some success on Friday. Everything went their way against New Diana as Sabine made off with a 51-26 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Sabine has posted since November 16, 2023.
When it comes to explaining why New Diana lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jolie Ballard. Despite the final result, she scored ten points along with six rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Bailey Tennimon, who scored four points along with six rebounds.
Sabine has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season. As for New Diana, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-15.
Sabine will be playing at home against Daingerfield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for New Diana, they will head out on the road to face off against Gladewater at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gladewater will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
