Kalamazoo Valley recap November 13, 2013
Kalamazoo Christian scaled the state rankings by moving to 215 from 242 this week, the biggest jump in Kalamazoo Valley.
Olivet was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after defeating Parchment. The Eagles came in at 25 in the state poll after placing at number 27 last week.
Thanks to the talents of Rob Funk and Shane Loney, Olivet has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Funk is tops in the league in passing with 1,184 yards, while Loney has rushed for 1,385 yards this season. Tops in the league in receiving yards is Maple Valley's Austin Gonser, with 428 yards on 32 catches.
Schoolcraft extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Watervliet, 28-26. The win marks eighth in a row for the the Eagles.
