It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Seton Hall Prep Pirates had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They came out on top against St. Joseph Regional by a score of 35-28. The win was familiar territory for Seton Hall Prep who now have three in a row.
Michael Dunmore had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 208 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.6 yards per carry.
Yasin Willis and Terrance Sumter certainly did their best on Saturday to try and avoid the loss. Willis rushed for 95 yards and two touchdowns, while Sumter rushed for 80 yards and a touchdown. Sumter's longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards.
Seton Hall Prep's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for St. Joseph Regional, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-4.
Seton Hall Prep is on the road again on Saturday and play against Delbarton at 1:00 p.m. on November 18th. Delbarton will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. St. Joseph Regional does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
