Boaz waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the Gadsden City Titans as they made off with a 7-1 win. The Pirates might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by six runs or more this season.

Boaz's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-6. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Gadsden City, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Boaz will welcome Douglas at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Boaz is facing Douglas at the right time seeing as Douglas is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Gadsden City, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Fort Payne at 4:30 p.m. on April 8.
