The Raymond Seagulls lost against the Forks Spartans back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The contest between the two teams wasn't particularly close, with Raymond falling 56-42.
Several Seagulls players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Christopher Quintana, who scored 19 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Dalton Welch, who scored five points along with five rebounds.
Raymond bumped their record down to 3-3 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Forks, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.
Raymond will be home for the holidays to greet North Beach at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. North Beach will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings (they are ranked 326th, while Raymond is ranked 132nd). As for Forks, they will head out on the road to face off against Coupeville at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Coupeville will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
