The Minnechaug Regional Falcons's homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Chicopee Comp Colts at 6:30 p.m. on January 18th. Minnechaug Regional will be strutting in after a win while Chicopee Comp will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Friday, Minnechaug Regional didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Pittsfield, but they still walked away with a 50-45 win. 50 seems to be a good number for Minnechaug Regional as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Meanwhile, Chicopee Comp's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 56-46 to Pittsfield. Chicopee Comp has struggled against Pittsfield recently, as their match on Monday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Minnechaug Regional pushed their record up to 3-1 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Chicopee Comp, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
Minnechaug Regional didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Chicopee Comp in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, but they still walked away with a 54-49 victory.
