Brentwood is 8-2 against the Knights since November of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Brentwood Bruins will head out on the road to square off against the Nolensville Knights at 6:00 p.m. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
After a string of four wins, Brentwood's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell to Page 45-39. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Brentwood came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 14th, while the Patriots are ranked 63rd).
The losing side was boosted by Olivia Castagna, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Nolensville pushed their score all the way to 58 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 63-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of Franklin.
Brentwood's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-3. As for Nolensville, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-7.
Brentwood lost to the Knights on the road by a decisive 62-44 margin in their previous meeting back in January. Can Brentwood avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
