Cape Fear Academy put the finishing touches on their fifth blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. They blew past Coastal Christian, posting a 53-21 victory on the road. The victory was just what Cape Fear Academy needed coming off of a 70-45 loss in their prior contest.

Arendell Parrott Academy suffered their biggest loss since November 28, 2023 on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a rough 54-17 loss at the hands of John Paul II Catholic. While losing is never fun, Arendell Parrott Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 420th, while John Paul II Catholic is ranked 41st).
Cape Fear Academy has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Arendell Parrott Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-13.
