Flathead is 0-10 against Glacier since May of 2019 but things could change on Thursday. The Braves/Bravettes will take on the Wolfpack at 5:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
As a matter of fact, Flathead put up the most runs they have all season on Thursday. They came out on top against Hellgate by a score of 10-6.
Lacie Franklin spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and three unearned) runs on 14 hits.

On the hitting side, Mackenzie Brandt was incredible, firing off two home runs and three RBI while going 2-for-4. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Nyman, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
Brandt wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Flathead lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Glacier, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Hellgate an 11-0 shutout on Saturday. Considering the Wolfpack have won three matchups by more than nine runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Glacier let Cazz Rankosky and Karley Allen run wild. Rankosky went 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI, while Allen scored two runs while going 2-for-3. That home run was Rankosky's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Taylor Vivian, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.
Flathead's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Glacier, their record now sits at 5-2.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Thursday. Flathead hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.9 home runs per game. However, it's not like Glacier struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.6 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Flathead suffered a grim 7-0 defeat to Glacier in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Can the Braves/Bravettes avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
