If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Central. They will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Agawam at 7:00 PM. Central know how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matchups -- so hopefully Agawam like a good challenge.
Central brought a five-game winning streak into their matchup against Longmeadow last Friday; they left with a six-game streak. Central were fully in charge, breezing past Longmeadow 46-0. Followers of Central probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected six blowout victories.
Meanwhile, Agawam have been struggling to pick up a victory, with their contest against Chicopee Comp making it four winless games in a row. Agawam have to be aching after a bruising 14-40 loss to Chicopee Comp.
Central took the game and then some with a 46-7 win over Agawam the last time the two teams met. Will Central repeat their success, or does Agawam have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
