Soccer Recap: Westminster Schools of Augusta Takes a Loss

If Westminster Schools of Augusta was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Gatewood last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Westminster Schools of Augusta Wildcats came up short against the Evans Knights on Tuesday, falling 6-3. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost four in a row.

Westminster Schools of Augusta's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Evans, their record is now 5-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westminster Schools of Augusta will face off against Spartanburg Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Evans, they will square off against Lake Oconee Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Lake Oconee Academy will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Evans surely won't give up without a fight.
