Softball Recap: Sycamore Has No Trouble Against Jacobs

After low-scoring totals in their previous four game, Sycamore brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. Everything went their way against the Jacobs Golden Eagles on Friday as they made off with a 12-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won 16 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Sycamore's victory bumped their record up to 26-5-1. As for Jacobs, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-18.

Coming up, Sycamore will host Yorkville at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Foxes will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Spartans surely won't give up without a fight. As for Jacobs, they will head out on the road to square off against Lake Zurich at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
