Centennial (Roswell, Ga.) took the final lead of the game on Saturday as
Tee Holland thew a touchdown to
Christian Robinson with with 2:00 left in the second quarter, bringing the team to victory over
Johns Creek (Ga.) 45-34.
After taking the lead on a touchdown pass by Holland to Robinson in the second quarter, the Knights were up 27-14 at the half.
Centennial saw its 13-point halftime lead fall to six entering the fourth.
Robinson played well for CHS in the victory. The senior wide receiver caught two touchdowns. He has now scored three touchdowns on the season.
The victory was a step in the right direction for the Roswell school, which was coming off a 56-10 defeat at the hands of Milton in its previous game. The loss was the fourth in a row for the Gladiators. The win broke Centennial's three-game losing streak.
Centennial (1-3) goes up against West Forsyth in a AAAAAA Region 6 game matchup next week, while Johns Creek (0-4) locks horns with Chattahoochee also in a AAAAAA Region 6 game.
