Baseball Recap: Bullitt East Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Bullitt East took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Oldham County, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bullitt East Chargers won by a run and slipped past the Oldham County Colonels 10-9. The win was just business as usual for the Chargers, who after three games remain undefeated this season.

Bryce Abrahamson looked comfortable as he tossed 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits.

At the plate, Hunter Holland and Connor Sauss did most of the damage at the plate: Holland scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-4, while Sauss scored two runs while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was Jack Willard, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Bullitt East's record is now 3-0. As for Oldham County, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Coming up, Bullitt East will host Niles West at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Oldham County, they will square off against North Bullitt at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
