There's no place like home for the Thrall Tigers, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Tuesday. They took their matchup at home on Friday with ease, bagging a 58-25 victory over Thorndale. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Thrall has managed all season.
Ashlyn Jarosek was her usual excellent self, scoring 21 points along with seven steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Thrall's points. Another player making a difference was Nevaeh Irvin, who scored 12 points along with six steals and five rebounds.
Thrall's victory bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Thorndale, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Granger the next time they take the court. Thrall will head out to face Granger at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Thorndale will host them at 6:00 p.m. on January 2, 2024.
