The Tecumseh Savages will venture away from home to take on the Sulphur Bulldogs at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.
Tecumseh barely beat Shawnee the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Tecumseh never let Shawnee get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory on Monday. The Savages' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Elias Hasler made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over six innings pitched. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in strikeouts. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
