They came out on top in a nail-biter against Christian Homeschool Sports Ministries and snuck past 69-66. Given San Marcos HomeSchool's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 58th, while Christian Homeschool Sports Ministries is ranked 216th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
San Marcos HomeSchool got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kendall Beck out in front who almost dropped a double-double on 22 points and nine rebounds. Beck is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 19 or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayla McGarity, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 16 rebounds.
