Basketball Game Preview: Cornerstone Christian Chargers vs. Hope Christian Academy

On Saturday, Cornerstone Christian didn't have too much trouble with Heritage Christian Academy as they won 64-46. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Chargers.

Cornerstone Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Malachi Adams, who posted 26 points and eight rebounds. The dominant performance gave Adams a new career-high in points. Zeke Adams was another key player, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 12 boards.

Cornerstone Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in 14 consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, Hope Christian Academy waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Chargers by a score of 61-52.

Cornerstone Christian has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.8 points per game. As for Hope Christian Academy, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-4.
