This season hasn't been kind to the Flint Academy Falcons, who are still winless after their ninth matchup. They had to suffer through a rough 73-15 loss at the hands of Methodist Children's Home. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Flint Academy has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Flint Academy had strong showings from Mason Olson, who scored seven points along with 11 rebounds and four blocks, and Ben Carlton, who scored four points along with ten rebounds and six steals. Olson is crushing the rebound category: he's posted at least ten every time he's taken the court this season. Joseph Lewis was another key contributor, scoring two points along with eight rebounds and four blocks.

Bickham has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last 13 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Daraun Taylor, who scored 14 points along with five steals.
Flint Academy dropped their record down to 0-9 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 25.7 points per game. As for Methodist Children's Home, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-4.
Flint Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Hawks on January 26th. Hopefully Hill focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Wednesday. As for Methodist Children's Home, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against the Falcons. Hopefully Flint Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Friday.
