It was a good run, but the Bosco Tech Tigers unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 52-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rolling Hills Prep.
When it comes to explaining why Bosco Tech lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ryan Osborne. Despite the final result, he scored 16 points along with nine rebounds and five assists. Osborne hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Kenneth Martinez, who scored eight points.
Bosco Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Rolling Hills Prep, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bosco Tech will take on La Salle at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. La Salle will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 495th, while Bosco Tech is ranked 154th). As for Rolling Hills Prep, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Hawthorne Math & Science Academy at 4:00 p.m. Hawthorne Math & Science Academy is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
