Calvary was led to victory by Connor Brown and Luke Blackford. Brown almost dropped a double-double on 22 points and nine assists, while Blackford almost dropped a double-double on 42 points and nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Blackford has scored all season. Antione Hunter was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Calvary and bumps their season record up to 19-8. As for Mt. Pulaski, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-17.
Calvary will be playing in front of their home fans against Lincolnwood at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Mt. Pulaski, they will head out on the road to challenge Midwest Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Midwest Central is coming into the matchup with seven straight defeats at home, meaning Mt. Pulaski will have to defend against a team hungry for a win.
