Baseball Recap: Notre Dame Academy Starts Season with Victory at Home

Notre Dame Academy took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Wednesday. They won by a run and slipped past the Avon Braves 3-2.

Avon is on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Notre Dame Academy will challenge Elba at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Avon, they will face off against Mount Morris at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
