The Westville Tigers were the 62-33 winner over the Chrisman Cardinals when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Westville fell 56-45 to the Cardinals on Friday. Westville just can't catch a break and has now endured three losses in a row.
Leading Chrisman to victory were Gavin McCord and Triston Lehmkuhl. McCord scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and three steals, while Lehmkuhl scored 17 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Chris Francis was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Westville has not been sharp recently as the team's lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 17-8 record this season. As for Chrisman, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-15.
Westville will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on the Blue Devils at 7:30 p.m. on February 13th. As for Chrisman, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on the at 6:00 p.m. on February 7th.
