Fairhaven is on a four-game streak of home losses, Seekonk a five-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. The Fairhaven Blue Devils will take on the Seekonk Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Massachusetts (Fairhaven is ranked 224th, while Seekonk is ranked 232nd).
Last Friday, Fairhaven was able to grind out a solid victory over Westport, taking the game 62-54.
Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought matchup, but Seekonk had to settle for a 50-48 defeat against Case on Tuesday.
Despite the loss, Seekonk got a solid performance out of Noah Beausoleil, who scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Travis Pereira, who scored three points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Fairhaven's win bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Seekonk, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.
Fairhaven couldn't quite finish off Seekonk in their previous meeting back in January and fell 46-43. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Beausoleil, who scored 17 points.
