They skirted past Rancho Cucamonga 17-14. This was payback for Upland, who suffered a 31-14 loss the last time these two teams met.
When it comes to explaining why Rancho Cucamonga lost, one person who can't be blamed is Trey Wilson. Despite the final result, he rushed for 98 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries. Wilson really tore up the turf during one magnificent 73-yard run.
Upland has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. As for Rancho Cucamonga, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 9-1.
