After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.
It was a Battle of the Birds when Forest Hill challenged Atlantic on Tuesday. The Falcons put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.
The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-21, 25-16.
Meanwhile, Dreyfoos School of the Arts made easy work of Lake Worth Christian on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory.
One reason for the win was Dreyfoos School of the Arts' just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-22, 25-14.
Forest Hill better focus on containing Isabella Rigaud and Liv Wittmann as the pair were huge in Dreyfoos School of the Arts' win. Rigaud had ten digs and four aces, while Wittmann had five digs and two aces. Wittmann is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 16 every time she's taken the court this season. Stella Russo also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.
Dreyfoos School of the Arts was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in three consecutive contests.
Forest Hill now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Dreyfoos School of the Arts, their record is now 10-2.
Forest Hill might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Dreyfoos School of the Arts in their previous matchup back in September of 2023. Can the Falcons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
