The Owls have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Boles' defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 19-8. As for Yantis, their loss dropped their record down to 6-16.

Everything came up roses for Boles against Yantis in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 66-23 win. In that match, Boles amassed a halftime lead of 35-11, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
