Heartland Lutheran had to endure  a  three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They breezed by the Elba Bluejays to the tune of  61-21 on Tuesday. With the Red Hornets ahead  33-13 at the half, the  matchup was all but over already.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Heartland Lutheran to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Chad Rostvet, who  dropped  a double-double on 15 points and 12  boards. Rostvet continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Cole Lindner, who  went 7 of 12  en route to 16  points and five  steals.
 Heartland Lutheran was working as a unit and  finished the game with 17  assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Elba only posted four  assists.
 Despite the  defeat, Elba had strong showings from  Blake Barg, who  posted ten points and eight  rebounds, and  Ethan Lange, who  had four  points. Barg is  on a roll when it comes to  boards, as he's  now  pulled down eight or more in the last three games he's  played.

Heartland Lutheran's win  ended  a  four-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 5-13. As for Elba,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 2-16.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Heartland Lutheran will square off against Palmer at 7:30  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Elba, they will challenge Twin Loup at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
