The Garland Owls were the 53-22 winner over the South Garland Titans when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Garland took a 33-29 hit to the loss column at the hands of South Garland. Garland has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead South Garland to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ajah Choice, who scored six points along with five rebounds.
Garland has not been sharp recently as the team's lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-18 record this season. As for South Garland, their win ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-20.
Garland's road trip will continue as they head out to face Wylie at 5:30 p.m. on February 6th. The timing is sure in Wylie's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Garland has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road. South Garland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
