The Heights Falcons put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They rang in the new year with a 63-51 victory over East. Given Heights' advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 11th, while East is ranked 209th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Heights was led to victory by Chase Robinson and T.J. Williams. Robinson scored 21 points along with seven rebounds, while Williams scored 24 points along with eight rebounds. The game was Williams' sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aven Mboule, who scored nine points.
Heights pushed their record up to 6-0 with that win, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 25.83 points. As for East, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
Heights will head out on the road to face off against Bishop Carroll at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bishop Carroll is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. As for East, they will be playing at home against North on Tuesday. North comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
