After losing to the New Lexington Panthers the last time they met, the Tri-Valley Scotties decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Tri-Valley walked away with a 45-35 win over New Lexington on Wednesday.
New Lexington's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chloe Dick, who scored 20 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. Dick is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games she's played. Another player making a difference was Abby Wilson, who scored six points along with nine rebounds and two blocks.
Tri-Valley is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for New Lexington, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.
Tri-Valley will be playing at home against Crooksville at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for New Lexington, they will head out on the road to challenge John Glenn at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday. John Glenn is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.
