After two games on the road, World of Inquiry is heading back home. They will take on the Northeast/Northwest College Prep Panthers at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Even though World of Inquiry has not done well against Penn Yan Academy recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. World of Inquiry came out on top against Penn Yan Academy by a score of 72-59.
Jaedon Adams was his usual excellent self, scoring 30 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Yacoub Tarawally was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds.
Even though Northeast/Northwest College Prep has not done well against School of the Arts recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way last Friday. Northeast/Northwest College Prep rang in the new year with a 73-61 win over School of the Arts. The win was just what Northeast/Northwest College Prep needed coming off of a 87-56 loss in their prior matchup.
World of Inquiry's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Northeast/Northwest College Prep, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
