Richfield is 1-9 against Juab since May of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Tuesday. The Wildcats will face off against the Wasps at 4:30  p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Richfield comes in on three and Juab on nine.
Richfield is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Monday. They walked away with  a   7-3  win over Union.

 Richfield got a big performance out of  Jess Curtis, who  went a perfect 4-for-4 with three  RBI. Curtis is becoming a predictor of the Wildcats' success: when he posts  at  least three  RBI the team is undefeated (and 9-17 when he doesn't).  Malik Fautin was another key player,  going 1-for-3 with two  runs, one  double,  and one  RBI.
Meanwhile, Juab made easy work of Grantsville  on Monday and carried off  a  10-3 victory. The Wasps might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matchups by six  runs or more this season.
 Austin Park made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He  struck out seven batters over  five innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   six  hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  tossed less than seven  strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with one  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Connor Cowan, who  went 2-for-3 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and two  RBI. That's the most  stolen bases  he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was  Trevin Park, who  went 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double.
 Juab  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Grantsville struck out ten times.
 Juab's win was  their fifth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 23-5. Those  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.2 runs over those games. As for Richfield, their record now sits at 12-17.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging  on Tuesday. Richfield hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season,  having  averaged 0.4  home runs per game. However, it's not like Juab struggles in that department as   they've been averaging  an even more impressive 0.5  home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
 Richfield might still be hurting after the  10-0 loss they got from Juab  in their previous meeting  back in April. Can the Wildcats avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
