The Mt. Pleasant Tigers's game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Zion Christian Academy as Mt. Pleasant made off with a 55-33 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Mt. Pleasant also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mt. Pleasant to victory, but perhaps none more so than Addison Workman, who scored 17 points along with 3 steals. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Workman has scored at least 25% of Mt. Pleasant's points. Another player making a difference was Ki'Yanna Armstrong, who scored 15 points along with 5 rebounds.
Mt. Pleasant's win bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Zion Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mt. Pleasant will take on Eagleville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Zion Christian Academy, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Franklin Road Christian at 6:00 p.m. on December 12th.
